Key Stages
- Take your instructions and verify your identity
- Receive and review the draft contract and supporting documents
- Carry out local authority, environmental, drainage and title searches
- Report to you on the contract terms, searches and mortgage offer
- Agree completion date and exchange contracts
- Complete the purchase, register your ownership and submit SDLT return
Disbursements
- HM Land Registry fee: £95 – £910 (depending on property value)
- Search fees: £250 – £400
- Electronic ID verification: £6 – £20 per person
- Bank transfer fee: £40 per transfer
- Stamp Duty Land Tax: calculated based on purchase price
- Leasehold supplement (if applicable): £350 + VAT
